ezme was in a hurry to finish her daily chores around the castle. She was in the process of dusting the Prince’s room when the door suddenly burst opened causing Ezme to drop her duster. Expecting the cause of this absurd noise to be another maid she swiftly turned around to yell at the culprit. To her surprise it was not another maid but the Prince himself. “Please forgive me Prince Scott. I was not aware of how late it was.” Ezme quickly tucked her dark brown hair behind her ears. “I shall finish early tomorrow your heiness, good-day.” She turned to pick up the duster when a hand gently grasped her shoulder. The hand pulled her back straight and then reached for the duster. Before the prince could see she made her ragged uniform more presentable. “Allow me,” The Prince picked up the duster and handed it to her. “I should be the one apologizing. I do hope you forgive for startling you like that.” Ezme stood there looking startled. For years she had been under the impression that royals were selfish and unkind to everyone especially the maids. Looking at the prince she saw that it was not only untrue but completely off base. “No, really, I should have finished long ago I apologize for not having your room finished, good-day your highness.” She turned again this time to leave. Catching her off guard again the prince spoke. “Do call me Scott,” he offered her his hand. “What is your name?” Warily she shook his hand. “Ezme your hei… Scott, “she corrected herself before the prince could protest. “Ezme,” he repeated “Are you new to the staff? I do not believe I’ve seen you before.” The prince was scrutinizing her face, her strong cheek bones, olive skin, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and her beautiful smile. There was no doubt in his mind that she was from a servant family. “Yes, I was hired while you were away.” “Well, welcome to the most boring castle in the world. I’m sure you’ve been having fun cleaning it. I hope your room is to your liking. Have you been through the grounds yet?” He finished as Ezme laughed. “No, as you can see I am a bit behind in my chores
(this is after she runs off) say later that night she ran away to the rose garden with only her lantern.she saw someone there too she freaked! But it was the price that came out of the dark shadow. then make them fall in love some how
